About Norris Family Industry

Norris Family Industry is a private, home-based family business. It was started by Thaine Norris out of the realization that he is no longer "Thaine Norris; Software Developer" but rather, "Thaine Norris; Husband, Father, and (incidentally) Software Developer." Presently, the primary product of Norris Family Industry is shareware software.

About Thaine Norris
Thaine Norris has been in the online photography industry since 1999 when he founded DigitalPhotoContest, which for six years was the Internet's largest, online photography contest. Thaine has also been involved, as technical lead, in successful online photography startups in the photo-finishing (EZ Prints) and stock photography (OnRequest Images) markets.

SimpleSlideShow is a tool that grew out of Thaine's experience in the online photo industry and his desire to have an ideal and cost-efffective tool for sharing photos with his extended family. Read the story of SimpleSlideShow here.
